为适应高等教育国际化进程、培养具有国际竞争力的材料领域高素质人才，课程选用原版专业教材，采用中、英双语讲授工程材料技术，金属、聚合物、陶瓷、复合材料、生物功能材料的组成、结构、性能与应用基础知识，同时介绍相关材料的最新研究进展。 课程注重材料科学基础知识学习和专业英语交流能力培养，有利于提高学习者的英语应用能力，使学习者更好地了解相关材料的国际前沿动态，学习和吸收最新材料知识和技术，开阔专业视野，成为社会欢迎的复合型、国际化人才。课程对材料科学与工程类(高分子材料与工程、材料科学与工程、功能材料)本科专业学生学习后续课程、出国深造或攻读研究生学位、及将来在国际环境中工作都有很大帮助。 This course will introduce the fundamental concepts and theories relating to engineering materials technology, nature and structure of materials, and particularly, the composition, properties and applications of metallic, ceramic, polymeric and composite materials. Also, the course will include some recent developments of the above materials. The introductions are given by Chinese and English to improve to students’ international communication ability and make them know more about the advanced materials, Learning this course helps students (who major in Polymer Materials and Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Functional Materials) prepare well for studying other courses, pursuing their Master’s Degree abroad or at home, or adapting their jobs in an international environment and having sustainable re-learning ability after graduation.
